I did that too ILC trying to figure it out! I left phone at home too while I was at work and there was a call but DH didn't know how to work it!
I know what you mean about all the updates! I have only used phone to text, call and fb so far and I have had loads of updates that I am worried it will run my bill up! I will try that avg app killer.

I am using laptop again as DH had ipad and I am so used to ipad that I cant use laptop properly anymore! Now he's gone to bed I will have my ipad back!

PC better if you need two windows open i.e. Weeklies. (+FB comps)


Turn off mobile data when not needed / check settings (update centre) re downloads (tick - update via wifi only, untick - allow automatic updates )


Anybody bought the Morrisons 2 x tins of chocs for £7.
Am resisting as they would be too tempting to last-out until Christmas:eek:

Good morning all, managed to drag myself out of bed a bit earlier today! Wet and windy here again today. Off shopping soon then need to see DD1 at Asda Cafe at 1.00 so need to get a shifty on.

iluvcats - can you you the AVG app killer on any mobile then? Will also check my setting re updates as they are always happening.
We are off to Morrisions to get 4 tins of chocs today for Crimbo presents for the families. We find if you leave it until nearer Christmas they go up in price. The dates are good, we have checked them so no problem there.

You sound busy today sylv - got a fair bit to do meself - have various lists on the go but still got to catch up on yesterdays chores :eek::D

Jings, what a night weather wise - gales were whistling round the house:eek: - sunny/cloudy here at mo, blustery earlier at 6am but seems to have calmed down a bit now. Fairly chilly out though.

No big toms out last night ILC - weather to extreme - but can see them now venturing out.......... hope you managed to keep meow entertained.

Morning,I have finished work now till tuesday lunch time..yay.Looking forward to having the whole weekend off and not just saturday.I have lots round the house and garden to keep me busy, just need to drag myself away from the pc..lol

I managed to get my hands on some second class stamps (x12), used them all and then had to get more today! :rotfl:

I was having a think about postal entry comps last night, and I remember going to the Aladdin film premiere when I was about 12 and I got a goody bag too. I'm pretty sure that was a postal competition that my Dad had entered. I was dead chuffed! Now I know where I got the comping bug from! :rotfl:

Phew!!! Just having a sit down! Done all me chores - just got to put bit of washing on.

Got visitors staying over next week for few days which will be lovely, all ready now, nice bit of shopping in etc.

Puddy though is not happy cos mummy has been cleaning big time and she is very suspicious, 'she knows you know'! :rotfl::rotfl: ..... she doesn't like visitors cos they cramp her style :eek:

She decided to hide away upstairs earlier ......... the big bulge under me duvet was a bit of a giveaway!!! :rotfl::rotfl: xxx
