sorry to barge in just wondered if anyone had received anything like this:

To celebrate the hotly anticipated release of Spike Island on DVD & Blu-Ray we are hosting an exclusive gig at the iconic Manchester venue Band on the Wall on Wednesday 16th October and YOU could be there!

To confirm a place for you and a mate on the VIP guest list and to receive free drinks and a goody bag, reply to letitia.cowan@thisisglobal.com with your full name & your mates full name by Wednesday 9th October at 12 noon.

The event will feature much lauded Manchester bands The Quangos and The Minx, hosted by Xfm’s Jo Good, with a full cast Q and A from Shadow Caster plus Spike Island drinks and goody bags.

Please note that any replies after 12noon on Wednesday 9th October will be disregarded.

Not sure if genuine as no name mentioned not even my email address is in the address line on my email

Thanks Sylvia - needed to be 4 nights really for that distance. We would normally stay one night each way but will do them both in a oner this time so we aren't away any longer.
Hope you manage the homework OK!
We had roast chicken for dinner - reduced in Tesco this morning. :D

    Thanks for your 'hope'

I couldn't really get to grips with exactly what was going on some of the time, but some good drama, action, camaraderie and effects?

Do you get anything extra in your winning break or is it just accommodation?

Doorbell woes again. The wireless push is intermittent for callers (switch or battery?) so will need to find a new push and go back to wired.
(the pushes are the weakest link)

I use collect+ where I can for internet shopping so don't have to wait in / miss the bell.
