I wish I was like an Orangutan
With arms as long as you please
I could swing around me kitchen
And reach up and paint with ease

I wish I was like an Orangutan
    And with DIY swiftly done
I could swing out into me garden
    And enjoy some outdoor fun!

Small verse by Alfie written in short coffee break just now ...... just to break the boredom of decorating! Strange where me mind goes to when I'm painting!!!!:D

Well done ff with win :T:T Good luck with sorting veggie patch :)

Oh well - back to it ....... love to all xxxxx :)

you should get your book & poems published :A:j:T

Thank you ff :A and indie :A

I was up high earlier doing some really awkward painting - was very careful, tad scared and being very very careful (also I know that yon lovely sylv will tell me off otherwise :p:D:A:A) and I just thought, like you do ..... how handy would it be to have mega long arms and the little verse came into me mind!! :p

Can anyone remember The Adventures of Twizzle on tv, black and white in the 50's:eek::eek::eek: :p

My thoughts were drifting to either being an orangutan or Twizzle - he had very handy extending arms n legs!!! :D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just off to paint round window now - not so scary as can kneel up on draining board and t'other side of sink.

AB: The all new Pam Ayres

Added a Last ever £1 lotto (wed) + TB (wed) to my portfolio.
My £3 SC stock has nose-dived to £2:eek: now where to re-invest it? (another SC or Euro stock)

Look at some mules (slipper) but too furry, too hot for my tootsies:eek:

Well that's me home. Dirty dishes everywhere but never mind as nothing seems to be broken or damaged!

Well done on the wins indie & FF.

Must try and get a few comps done, this going away doesn't help with prizes.
Here is a link to some pics I took if anyone wants to remind themselves what Blackpool looks like.
