Yes we have stayed at Leith a few times. DS1 used to live near there and really handy for Edinburgh. There is a Premier Inn and a Holiday Inn Express there. We always stay at the HIE.
Love The Proclaimers - went to see them at Carlisle last November with a ticketmaster win.
Haven't read about the film yet but have seen the adverts.
EDIT - Just seen your weather pic with DH's fav Carol. :rotfl: Feeling pretty warm at the moment lol
Last time we were nr.Leith we tried this: http://www.valvonacrolla.co.uk/restaurants/caff%C3%A9-bar
Great deli & v.nice food in the restaurant as well.0 -

I am doing the dailies as they nearly appear and add a few closing soon so I still have a chance. Far to stressful to do the lot everyday. (along with everything else!)

Clean machine from Ecover.
Weird how some contracts/direct debits can be accepted without a signature.
I still speeded up the old process (saving stamps/going astray) by printing off a printed/signed form and a hand completed form, scanning and emailing off.0 -

Good Morning,
Still not looking very nice here and I have loads more washing to sort out. This month seems to have flown past - can't think why! Really looking forward to Blackpool Illuminations now. Would be nice to have a little win before we go though.
"Sunshine On Leith" sounds good ILC. Might make an exception and go and see it when DH and I are on our travels. Cinemas are 30 miles away in different directions here so can never be bothered to go to them. Used to go a lot when we stayed at Leith as the hotel was just along from cinema and novelty for the kids as we never normally went to see films. Just used to wait and buy the Video in those days.
Hope everyone has a lucky day.

Sheils: I love the illuminations. When I lived there I'd see the whole season. (switch on etc.)
Chips n gravy along the prom :beer:
There was a Scottish (Blackpool) season, can't remember what it was called.
I saw the Price is Right with Leslie Crowther a couple of time @ Winter Gardens.
I don't hear bingo yet :eek::eek::rotfl:
