Hi everyone,
Hope you are all well today and have the beautiful sunshine that we have.
That's me back already. Had a lovely busy time though. Yesterday we went to Prestwick to use petrol vouchers and £10 off £50 Voucher at Sainsbury and then headed for Troon. Had a look round there and a walk along the prom and then headed for Castle Semple Lake and country park which was beautiful but took a little bit of finding as we were diverted because of an accident and half the signs seemed to be hidden in hedges. We had a walk there in blazing sunshine and then headed for Dumbarton Castle which has about 600 steps and it started to bucket down. There would have been fantastic views if it hadn't been wet and cloudy but you can't win them all. We saw most of it anyway before heading for our hotel a few miles away but on the way there we got held up by a herd of cows!!!! DH's language wasn't too good by that point. Anyway a T-bone Steak and a free bottle of wine at Brewers Fayre soon cheered him up.
Went to Balloch today and had a walk around Balloch Country Park which is right beside Loch Lomond. So that is another cheap break finished.
DH makes the coffee in this house wingo unless we are having a Tassimo. He doesn't like my coffee. I drink far more tea than coffee anyway.
Has anyone one anything this week yet?Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media

Sun shining in our livingroom at the moment so not cold.
Sounds like you have done well with the painting Alfie.
We don't feed the birds FF as we are away so often and they get used to feeding at the same place. Do put stuff out if it is really bad weather though. Saw a lot of Red Kites flying together on our way home this afternoon. I think we must have been near the place that officially feeds them.
We are having Lasagna that DD and her Polish friend made. They made one for themselves last night and one for us too. Looking forward to it.Mar Wins :- £2 GfK Media
