Went to visit a possible new flat.

Confused by a 'combi boiler. When he put the water on (usually on all day!!) My on once in morn and once in eve! /he said the pressure was low and showed me a very confusing thing! He pulled a cover (of tiles) away and said they you have to unscrew this bit, attach to this and pressure goes up. To this something is not quite right!!! You not not have to do this as quite dangerous.
New kitched being fitted so mayb new boiler. I f not call to housing officer to explain.

Topping up a combi via the filling loop is normal procedure, but you shouldn't have to do it regularly. If you do, there is a leak on the system somewhere which needs fixing Keep an eye on the pressure gauge which should be around 1 bar when cold. No, you don't need a new boiler.
Combi's heat the water on demand-you can't have it on a timer or 'always on' or 'on twice a day'.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
