Moving emails from Talk21/Yahoo folders to GMail

Please help.
Unfortunately I am in the process of moving my email from Talk21 to Gmail.

(BT’s decision to cancel Talk21 email option giving only a few weeks notice is despicable!!!!)

Now also I have to go through all my accounts and change the email address, trying to remember all the relevant accounts.

Thanks to previous posts on here and researching on internet & Gmail have managed to transfer Contacts and current emails from Inbox.

However my major problem is how do I import from Yahoo/Talk21 all the emails I have filed in folders to my new Gmail Account, preferably without the trauma of having to forward each email individually?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Also how do I change my email address on this forum? I must be stupid but cant find it!

Hey olive it's me popeye - http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/profile.php?do=editprofile as for part one of your question no idea , unless you have left all your emails on their server, then you could use Thunderbird to download them all , and set it to leave them on the server too. And Use it for gmail too and leave them there too.

I hope you have emailed vaizeye@parliament.uk the MP in charge of communications, I did and the more that do may help others in the future when Gmail, Hotmail etc suddenly declare a charging model for email!! Email address need to be protected even if they are free or paid for.
