If you have passed the WCA and been placed in the WRAG then to the best of my knowledge no you do not.
If in doubt write to or call your Benefits Delivery Office (their contact details will be on letters they have sent to you) to confirm.0 -
thanks she won this on appeal does that make a difference?0

If it's been won on appeal in that case it would be my recommendation to continue sending them in until she's had the back pay paid, are put on the correct weekly rate and the DWP have confirmed they have the Tribunal decision, just to cover herself.
Appeal rate ESA is paid on condition the sick notes are sent so until the Tribunal ruling has gone all through the official channels I would keep sending them in.
This can take a few months to process all through the system because of the sheer volume of cases they are dealing with.0 -

The appeal ruling takes time to filter down to the DWP though. While appealing ESA assessment rate is paid because sick notes are sent in and if a sick note running out coincides with a Tribunal decision not being processed, no money will be paid.
While the back pay takes longer than the DWP processing the decision; members on this forum have had to wait as long as 3 months to receive back pay, this should give an indicator of how long things can take following a successful appeal Tribunal ruling.0 -

hang on just had a thought was this the decision of the tribunal or when DWP eventually decided to send out a decision we're only assuming its going to be WRAG cos that's what the tribunal said DWP haven't got back to her yet0

At the appeal you would have been given a sheet of paper called a decision notice, it will say on that if it's WRAG or support group.
If the tribunal decided on wrag then that's the group DWP will put you in.
As mentioned above keep sending fit notes until you hear from DWP and getting full rate of benefit or your money will stop.0 -
I was on ESA and in the WRAG group for 15 months and I certainly did have to send in Medical Notes every three months - this year I had another ATOS examination and a few weeks later my local DWP office called me up and they told me I had enough points and would remain on ESA {WRAG} and I was instructed that from that point on I did not need to send in any further Medical Notes - I did ask them to send me a letter but so far no letter has arrived apart from a stock letter confirming what I would be paid.on a Wrag do you need to keep supplying sick notes does anyone know?
If in doubt ' send them in ' unless you have been told directly not to.0
