FlubM - No need to be so hard on yourself, as others have said "baby steps" are the way to go.
To have started so well on the decluttering is really good - I was medically retired a couple of years ago and still haven't got the house decluttered and I haven't even got young children to worry about on top of it.
I decided to start on the money saving side of things and have managed well with meal planning - now doing a month at a time and have recently started on the Grocery Challenge and the NSD challenge (no spend days).
Once I come back from my holidays in September I'm going to make a concerted effort on the decluttering.
You're doing well - good luck with everything.

Welcome to OS! you have made an excellent start! as the others have said 'Take baby steps'. Don't get discouraged if you have a bad day/we ek/month - it happens to all of us - sometimes things happen and OSing has to take a back seat.
my best money saving tip is - DONT go shopping! or rather don't go window shopping or pop out for 'bits and pieces - with a load of money on you. just pop as much as you think you need in your pocket - that way you wont get tempted to spend money you don't really need to!
never forget 'One woman's trash is another woman's treasure - don't chuck away perfectly usable items because they are either not to your taste anymore or just because you are fed up of them! ebay or boot sale them (the kids get really enthusiastic at this if you promise them their own table/posting and let them keep the profit!
as a last resort freecycle or charity shop them - that way you are least feeling good about helping others.
Good luck!
