Center Parcs - Europe

Just thought that I would let you know that I have recently booked a week in August at Center Parcs in the Netherlands.
We are driving and so have had to pay for the cost of a ferry and will have to pay for fuel.
Total spend is £600.00 for Center Parcs and £100.00 ferry costs (paid for with Tesco Club Deals).

The same week at a Center Parcs in the UK would have cost us £1200.00.

May be worth looking at the European parcs if you are close to a ferry port!!

The only caveat I have is that some of the CenterParcs in the Netherlands allow smoking pretty much everywhere and it's pretty unpleasant.

this is something we are definitely considering for next yr

we enjoyed our stay @ Center parcs in the Uk, but we went during term time and had a code from here so it was a bargain price :D

We would never pay the ridiculous prices of the school holidays  just dont think its worth that amount of money

the European ones have better facilities / activities apparently

and i guess it feels more like a holiday if you have to go "abroad" lol
  • why centre parks, there are some great campsites in europe that have good clean accomadation with loads to do on site at a fraction of the cost
