Kindle Paperwhite question?

I am wondering if anyone can please tell me how I remove books I have read off my kindle paperwhite. I thought removing them from my Amazon account would have done it, but seems not and they are still there.

I am baffled as to what to do, please can anyone help?

Thank you

    1) From Home, tap and hold the title of the Kindle content you want to delete

    2) Select Remove from Device

I need some one to come and do my packing!! lol

This kindle is going to be so brilliant, usually I take at least 7 books! I have downloaded about 25 this morning all costing me nothing!

and I have also found some Egyptian pounds from a few years ago, which I have been looking for all week.

I reckon its a good day!
