Just heard the news that Kevin Wright has been found guilty of stealing money from alleged cancer charities. This has been a long time coming and my family and I have been trying to stop this scam for years. He and his gang have been operating here in the SW purporting to be collecting money on the street for "Children with Cancer" when, in effect, he has been "selling" a leaflet promoting foods which fight cancer. One Christmas, I watched a"collector" empty his bucket every hour or so - he must have been raking it in. all to line the pockets of this conman. Well done Exeter trading standards, pity that Cornwall Trading standards didn't follow their example.
