Hi, I've used MB debit and credit cards throughout Europe and, extensively, across Turkey to withdraw cash and to make purchases. For reasons I've not investigated, the only times either of the cards have been "rejected" have been, on 2/3 occasions at the Auchan fuel station at Dunkirk although, maybe strangely, both cards are accepted in the supermarket itself. Enjoy your travels - and, if you do decide to apply to MB when you're in London, my best advice is to read the info on their website about forms of ID required - and then to take at least two examples of each "just-in-case".
