Has anybody received their Christmas stamps yet? I thought they normally come with the diary but I haven't had anything yet. Maybe I am thinking about Christmas a bit too early and they will come in a few weeks?
Early days yet, it's still November. From memory, they usually arrive closer to Christmas.Do you mean the usual books of twelve 1st class and four 1st class large letter stamps? I received my December incentive three days ago. They arrived separately to my diary.
I received my usual incentive three days ago too, however, the note from TNS stated that it was my incentive for January, not December as I was expecting! I assumed the note was sent in error but wondered if anyone else had the same?0 -

My note said January too, but last month said December so seems right?Anchor yourself to the foundations of everything you love.
Thank you to all those who post competitions!:beer:0 -
I have recently had TNS ask if I had posted outside my postcode district, which I confirmed I had not.
Apparently the smarts said this which made me think - why would the royal mail do such a doggey thing of sorting what must 20 -30 miles away?0 -

I makw use of nearly everything.
Packing paper goes to various class drawer for kids to draw on.
Polystyrene blocks and packing card go to art room
Envelope, jiffy bags and boxes are used by family for posting sold items on well known auction site or gifts.
Stamps are used for similar and labels although they are also passed on to another TA to label her charity items at shops she helps out.
Wasnt sure what to do with grey bags but at minute our class is making plastic bag tepee. Please do not quote spam as this enables it to 'live on' once the spam post is removed.

Hi
The same happened to me but I only post in my local area. It's really odd.Sealed Pot Challenge No 089-Finally got a signature.:rotfl::j0 -
Some post is taken to a sorting office other than your local office if there's more up-to-date sorting equipment available. I live in East Yorkshire but my post is taken to Sheffield for sorting.
I'm asked, via an automated email, if I've posted outside my postal area. The automated email is activated by the SMART reading taken at Sheffield.0 -

I don't know your area but are the first two letter of the two offices different.
I my case the area that the first two letters cover is very large which makes me think it is very strange and a bit doggey they are traveling so far0 -
Yes, the office my mail is taken to for sorting is about 60 miles away from where I live.
I live in the HU postal area, not what I'd consider anywhere near Sheffield. The funny thing is, when I post a birthday card to a friend who lives 4 miles away from me, it arrives bearing a Sheffield postmark.0
