Early days yet, it's still November. From memory, they usually arrive closer to Christmas.

I received my usual incentive three days ago too, however, the note from TNS stated that it was my incentive for January, not December as I was expecting! I assumed the note was sent in error but wondered if anyone else had the same?

I have recently had TNS ask if I had posted outside my postcode district, which I confirmed I had not.
Apparently the smarts said this which made me think - why would the royal mail do such a doggey thing of sorting what must 20 -30 miles away?

Likewise although cant stand the 'proper' jiffy envelopes, they are soooo heavy and you can't fit much in them. The grey plastic bags I use instead of carriers in the kitchen for waste for the bin/cartons with juices or oil in/bodies from victims of my cat!

The same happened to me but I only post in my local area. It's really odd.

Some post is taken to a sorting office other than your local office if there's more up-to-date sorting equipment available. I live in East Yorkshire but my post is taken to Sheffield for sorting.

I'm asked, via an automated email, if I've posted outside my postal area. The automated email is activated by the SMART reading taken at Sheffield.

I don't know your area but are the first two letter of the two offices different.
I my case the area that the first two letters cover is very large which makes me think it is very strange and a bit doggey they are traveling so far

Yes, the office my mail is taken to for sorting is about 60 miles away from where I live.

I live in the HU postal area, not what I'd consider anywhere near Sheffield. The funny thing is, when I post a birthday card to a friend who lives 4 miles away from me, it arrives bearing a Sheffield postmark.
