WELL, I just had a massive argument with the woman behind the counter at the Post Office. She demanded I told her what was inside. I said there are no prohibited items in it and she said ''It is not coming over this counter until you tell me what is inside''. I just said ''Ok, its cardboard'' and she said ''what'' and I repeated myself and she said OK. She gave me a shifty look and said ''Its very light'' and I said ''I know, its cardboard.''
Anyway, she took the item but was very very weird with me. She can't open it can she? Because she looked like she didn't believe me whatsoever.
What does everyone else say when asked what is inside your parcels?
If TNS told you what to say and the PO employee would not accept that then you should email TNS to tell them.
My local sub post office only ask that there is nothing prohibited in it.
The lady actually said 'now I'm not supposed what is in it so is there any prohibited item in it?
The main PO in town ask what is in it so I don't post there.0 -

I usually say foam and paper samples if asked. Never failed yet!If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is not for you! :dance:0 -
My "Check non R number items" has been red for over a week, and it says I should have received an issue of "Toyota The Clever Issue" but I haven't. Do I just leave it and hope that it disappears or shall I contact them if it's still red in another couple of weeks, and let them know I haven't received it? Thanks for any help.0

I haven't kept the email unfortunately but they did send one out last year saying the check non r number items will remain orange (the whole time you're on the live panel as a guess) to remind people that they may receive such items & to check it regularly, so don't be bothered by the colour, orange or red.
If it really bugs you then give it a few weeks to check it doesn't come through late & then send them an email letting them know its not come through but I doubt the button colour will change. From what I can make out on that bit of the tns stuff they don't have as much tracing as the main r number items & do randomly start stop even if it says you should get a whole run as 2 years running its said I should have 4/5 of something & I've only got 3 of them & never had them contact to double check the status- Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted

They have an expiry date on them.
I have just found £30.00 worth of them whilst going through my deceased partner's belongings, and they expired last year.
I wonder if there is an appeal process, or should I just forget them?
Following on from this, they have said that the expiry date is clearly marked on the front, (I agree that it is marked, but question how clearly as there is so much other stuff printed), and that for security purposes they can not help apart from giving information about which organisation the vouchers originated from. This doesn't help much. Some of the vouchers were bought directly from their website, and they will not do anything to replace them. Others were bought from another company which they named, but my partner never had anything to do with them. I am just going to forget about the out of date vouchers, which seems a shame as they have obviously been paid for by someone but cannot be spent.0 -
They do seem to have a bit of a left hand and right hand situation. Next week is my final week with 3 items to post but have not received anything for 2 weeks now so no SMARTs to put in them, waiting for an e-mail back0

On the unaddressed survey, you eventually get an option to declare an item as non-delivered - so it should be feasible for them to do this on non R-number items too.I need to think of something new here...0 -
