looking for some advice please?
a couple of years ago I followed the instructions on here and put in claims against Egg for PPI on two credit cards I had , giving the same reasons for miss-selling on both, one was upheld and the other refused. I did intend to challenge it but as I was in stressful place being in debt at uni and workig full time I let it slide and before i knew it the six months were up, now they have written ( or someone acting on their behalf) to say it may have been mis-sold, am I able to start a new claim on this despite my trying before? This is not me jumping on the band wagon, I really didn't know I'd had PPI if I'd know I had it I would have tried to claim on it when I lost my job due to ill health
Have I missed the boat or can I start again ? thanks in advance

Contact Lloyds direct, if the letter is from them they will do the claim, if it is not from them then you have lost nothing.0

This is a CCL that is going out to anyone that has had PPI. Its a standard letter.am I able to start a new claim on this despite my trying before?
Technically no. However, banks tend to be very poor on admin and whilst they keep records of complaint that have paid out, their recording keeping on rejected complaints seems to be haphazard at times. Some people have reported success on putting in a new complaint and getting it treated as a new complaint.
Put it in again. Don't get your hopes up as technically, you would expect a time out rejection. However, you may get lucky.
