Finance deal cancelled without my consent

Hi everyone,

I've had a bit of a nightmare with CSL in the last few days and it's resulted in 2 finance deals in my name being cancelled, 1 of which I am part responsible for, but the second of which is entirely their fault.

I don't want to bore anyone with details unless I have to, but basically, is there any way I can get the black marks on my credit rating removed? Or is there a way I could claim compensation, as due to no fault of my own, this is going to adversely affect my credit score and potentially be costly (I'm 28 and still have most of my big purchases ahead of me).

Any help would be incredible, I've spoken to the store manager but the simple apology from him just rings a little hollow. Any help is welcome, and if you need details of the story in order to be able to help, I'll happily tell the tale.

Thanks in advance for your comments

What black marks? Compensation for what? You post makes little sense at the moment.

I agree with zx81, your post makes no sense at all.

First off, what do you mean by cancelled, do you mean you've defaulted on it?

What are the black marks on your credit history?

Also, what does the store manager have to do with all of this?

If they have been added unfairly and are not justified, then yes you can complain to get them removed. Via ICO and (maybe FOS) if the company refuse.

If they have caused you to suffer financially in some quantifiable way, then you may even be able to claim redress through the FOS if the finance involved is covered by them.
