Morning everyone
Chucking it down with rain here so means DS will be like a caged animal as a result.
Hubby picked up some more boxes some can resume packing. No feedback from further up top of chain as to whether they are in position to exchange contracts which is annoying. Is it really so hard for EAs to return calls grrrr
Anyway we shall plod on regardless.
Tea will be bacon and courgette and potato hot pot I think.
Tru hope your mouth feels better and you get suitable revenge
Redruby I am sure Miss RR has done fantastic x

Thanks for all your kind thoughts re my sons results yesterday. We have decided to relax about it. He is going in to see his teacher early next week and hopefully they will let him re-take the year. As you know he is my fourth child so i know its not the end of the world, we will sort it out, its just convincing him of that:)
Its looking like a nice day. Just about to jump in the shower. DH is picking me up about 11 ish as we are going to have a look at the auction pre viewing, the auctions tomorrow. Im not allowed to bid, i get carried away but dh is a very cool customer:T
Luxor good luck today, I know it's not funny but your description made me laugh:rotfl:
Hoping for a nice quiet spend free weekend and a catch up with the kids.

Morning All,
Tru - come on, Mr Tru had a headache, do you not realise the man pain involved?Nice shredder revenge though! :rotfl:
Luxor - "I was dangling by my bazooms" that conjures up such a funny image for me - sorry it must be a man thing!
Julie - good news about the transplant. :T
Nice day here today, we have sent yesterday's rain over to you. However more heavy rain forecast for tomorrow.
Think we will have Chinese tonight, washed down with a bottle of wine.
Have a good day everyone :beer:0 -

Great news.:T
Dodged the showers to go to the Post Office. Its really hot and humid out there.
Walked down with a woman I used to see at the school gate. She's got a tea cup Papillion dog. She (the dog) is 12 months old and has a big mouth. By big I mean, she tried to see a Rottweiler off who was on the other side of the road. He'd have ate her for breakfast. :rotfl:She yapped all the way down the road and I could still hear her yapping as I was walking back home.
.... I thought my dogs were an embarrassment.

Back from my "excursion" . Far more dignified this time as there was no waiting about, a new machine and a very kind operator so much less traumatic.
It took me ages to stagger across the town to the bus station, but I did it - that glow in the sky is my halo.I had to stop and sit down 4 times - but one was in a caf!I can cook and sew, make flowers grow.0 -
Morning all,
aww Tru you poor thing. I felt bad enough having one tooth out but I cant imagine how you felt having 4 out. I hope you feel better soon. Ive said it before and i'll say it again, i'd rather give birth than have treatment on my teeth. Dumpling I hope your recovering well too. Hugs to you both.
Its hammering down with rain here in my part of the world. I'm going to wait for a break in the rain clouds as I need to go to the Post Office again as I had a sale on Eb*y last night. I'll be damned if i'm getting wet though.
Half way through todays jobs. I want to give the 'Girls' a haircut at some point. Lucy dog seems to be moulting more than usual and I want to trim their feet hair and check their nails. Lucy dog I want to check all is well with her paws particularly. She's still not limping but she's reluctant to come up any steps. If I bribe her with a tasty treat she's still reluctant. Next stop I think will be the vets. Did I tell you that I think Millie dog is deaf? I used to think it was 'selective hearing' but i'm not so sure now.
Yes I think a trip to the vet might be in order at some point.
Hunters chicken for tea tonight.
Have a great day all,
My dog does this and has arthritis in her hips though must admit that other symptoms showed before the reluctance to come upstairs. She's been on supplements for three years and anti-inflammatories as well for about 11 months. Having attended a talk at my vets about arthritis recently they recommended early intervention as although not cureable, some treatments can slow its progression.

Hi all
Weather has been changeable today; sun is out at the moment, but an hour ago it was stair-rodding it! Luckily, the towel and hanky wash I did were already on A-frames over the bath, as we didn't like the sound of the forecast on Cl@ssic FM this morning.;)
Tru oh, really! That's so unacceptable – they must all have known you were suffering mightily after four extractions, you'd think someone would at least see that the chickens and wee Timmy were seen to, even if nothing else. I'm cross on your behalf! Give Timmy a cuddle for me (I'm assuming the chickens wouldn't really appreciate it).:o
Dumpling oh, bless your DD:D – I wish someone would sing encouraging songs to me sometimes – but Mr LW couldn't carry a tune if it had handles! Or even if it was by Handel :rotfl:(sorry - I'll get my coat):D
Luxor Glad your appointment this morning went well – sooner you than me! Tbh, I got Mr LW to cancel when they wanted me to go; I need his assistance to undress, and I don't think they'd allow him in somehow; also the unit is in a portacabin, up steps – not do-able in a wheelchair!
Judi one of my regular guests, Jessie Labrador, is on special joint care daily treats – if memory serves, they contain green-lippel mussel, and she has one a day, with her breakfast. I hope Lucy is OK.:oIf your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
