electric plug turned off, but on!

Options
Ordinary single plug in the wall. Turned it off at the switch and noticed that the appliance was still on! Pulled the plug out and appliance turned off. Put plug back in with switch still off and appliance came back on.

Wierd! OK it shows that you should always remove a plug rather than just turn it off.

Is it just the plug point that needs changing?

No - your house is haunted.

Get in that scouser from Most Haunted. That should do the trick.
