Hiya
I was just wondering how many wage slips people have been asked to provide when applying for a mortgage?
Thanks

2. But they have to be up to date, i.e. if your application goes on for longer than the 2 months previous when you sent your slips, you will have to send them the most up to date ones.0

we had to send the last 3 pay slips and latest p60
but I think this can vary, its best to ask your lender0 -
if its your bank providing the mortgage then none
anybody else 3 normally the min0 -
3 of the latest payslips and 3 months bank statements with the relevant credit i had to provide0

Disagree, Halifax is my bank and they asked for 3 stillDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0 -
It varies from lender to lender. One may ask for latest payslip only. Another latest payslip and P60. Others 3 months payslips, P60 and 3 months bank statements.
If 1 payslip is asked for and overtime/bonus is needed they may want 2 more.
Whatever is asked for the lender reserves the right to request further information.
OP are you concerned for any reason with payslips?I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Hi everyone thanks for replies
What it is, is that in May my partner had 2 weeks unpaid leave from work to complete 2 weeks work experience at another company to add to his cv. This obviously reflects in his pay slips, and after being declined for a mortgage last year (due to a few late store card payments) we have both worked hard over the past 14 months to get our credit improved. We have now found a house we really like and would like to put an offer in but dont want 2 weeks unpaid in may to effect us getting a mortgage again.
Thanks0 -
We obtain ID, PoA, three months payslips, latest P60, three months bank statements and proof of deposit.
Regardless of what the lender might ask for, those are our minimum requirements.I am a mortgage broker. I am the same. Always better to have too much information than not enough.

My colleague has just been through a broker audit by LBG. He was given a list of past Halifax cases from about two years ago and asked to produce all the supporting documentation they never requested at application stage.
The meeting to discuss their findings is taking place the week after next with someone from LBG HQ and our BDM.
