I have discovered 3 old films, year 2000, approx. which were not processed,
anyone any suggestions where to send these for developing please.
They havent been well looked after at all but I would like to give the best possible try that I can.

I do not know your area but apparently you are about 3 miles from a camera shop in Wellington, you could always ring them and find out what they say

I use to work in a photo lab. If they are in the small round canisters (which is damaged?) they can be put in a dark box and unreeled manually and put into another dummy canister to be processed through the machine. Its if any light has got in its a problem, but it doesn't necessarily mean its wiped the whole film.
btw old films usually come out a bit more discoloured.Whether we win or lose, that we played at all was a winning decision.

Sure anywhere that processes photos would be able to do it for you, Max Spielmann, Asda, Boots, for a few examples. If practice makes perfect, and nobody is perfect....................................
Why practice!:T0 -
I wouldn't have believed that Boots still process 35mm film (I assume that is what it is), but apparently they do:

Thank you only one of them is in a canister, which is not damaged at all. other 2 are not, so I would think light and heat will have damaged them.
Will just have to try them suppose. I just wondered if anywhere specialised in this.
Really really want some prints of these as it was a Greek holiday with my Grandaughter as a toddler and she is now 14.Slimming World at target0 -
better looking for a local independent camera shop and having a chat with them. Most chain store companies use automated developing, where as having them done by hand (as in the first 2 replies) might be best.

Look through the classifieds in the camera monthlies to find some specialist who develops the type of film you have (i assume it's 'regular' colour negative film, i.e. C41 type.
The higher-end the magazine, the more specialised the services that will be in the classifieds.0 -
People think processing film is a lot more expensive that it is, my friend recently bought a digital underwater camera at great expense rather than borrowing my 35mm Canon Sureshot A1 (which is still worth quite a bit) because I could not get it through to him that he got bummed by Max Spielmann by paying full wack for processing and prints on 5 disposible cameras.
Try going to ASDA and asking for a CD with no prints, all three should cost about £7.50.
I had some films done, one dating back to 1993 two years ago, they came out fine.
ASDA CDs aren't great only really good enough for the web and 6x4" prints really, so use the negatives for bigger enlargements.0
