Hi guys, I have a feeling I may be on this forum a bit over the next few days.
I have got my new desktop pc. I gave the shop my own XP discs as it seemed daft paying out again when I already had it. I asked the guys if it would have internet on so I can get things sorted out as soon as possible. It has but it is Mozilla Firefox. No no no I want Explorer. I have now found IX and told it to use it as my default browser. Can I now delete Foxfire by add/remove?

You'd think it would be the other way around, keep FF and somehow disable IE as much as you can. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0

Why delete Firefox? IE and Firefox can co-exist on the same computer.Charlie0

Well, Firefox or IE will keep complaining that its not the default.0

Not if you tell either of them not to check if they are the default browser or not. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... I run IE as default and have FF extra - I use it for mse - but the default thing isn't a problem, I just click no each time.0

In FF, go to options, main then untick "Always check if Firefox is the default browser..."
Saves worrying about saying no all the time. It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc...
