A parent should pay or not become a parent in the first place.Just like they should see their kids.
Who said anything about making themselves homeless? You know the money goes out, that should be taken into consideration first.SOMETHING should be paid.
Sorry, but it's about responsibility towards a child. If women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0 -
Yes it is, and the system is there to protect ALL involved... Including the NRP as well as the PWC and the child...
So tell me how a FAIR system would allow such a mess to occur, an NRP can open a case, but cannot close, it, and NRP can pay through the nose on CSA1 if he works and has no housing, but the money gets reduced if he buys a home so is criticised about being a bad parent, an NRP can be denied access with no recourse and no way of financially applying to court if he works as you never could get legal aid, yet the PWC would get this...
Biased...??? Slightly...A PWC is able to move an existing case to the new system but an NRP is unable to voluntarily transfer. Early migration occurs only if a new application is made against the NRP or if the PWC makes a new application against another NRP.
A case that migrates because of a new application will be subject to a phasing program, so maintenance will not necessarily change immediately.
The PWC may also close the existing case for a period of 13 weeks, and then reapply to the CS2 system. This would be treated as a new application and no phasing is applied.
I don't get where the OP is doing anything wrong...??? It was a good enough system to rape him of £500 a month for over a decade... But the system is not good enough now and the PWC is choosing to manipulate the system by closing a case and reopening it... Well the rules are the rules, it is what it is...
And screaming that it is wrong may well make you feel better, but it is what the government decided was right...!!!0 -
Perhaps the opening poster would care to elaborate on why he is not prepared to contribute financially to his children?0

Kevin you are contradicting yourself re: NRP 'living on the streets'.
I said he should reduce his mortgage, not become homeless.
If he's assessed to pay £500 pw then he must have the income and must keep his child to the expected lifestyle, he should of thought about that before he had babies, the most mine went up to was £834.00pm.
Can I just ask, the LO the CSA are trying to issue to you, once you've sorted the address out, is that for not paying for your child/ren at some point?
My NRP couldn't wait to do the same, leave his job, change 'his' name on the deeds of his house and then flee the country all to avoid CSA and no further 'regular maintenance' does he have to pay.0 -
Where has the op said he was being raped of £500 a month for a decade or given any other info?
I swear Kevin makes up posts in his head because several times he makes massive assumptions with no evidence. Your post being 1 pointt. I also noticed where someones said to sell house and reduce mortgage costs - yet Kevin reads that as make yourself homeless *rolls eyes*0 -
Perhaps the opening poster would care to elaborate on why he is not prepared to contribute financially to his children?
Why does he need to elaborate to this...??? Curious as to why when the CSA1 system was put into place it was to make things a fair system for all concerned, it was meant as a way to protect the people in the system and allow the NRP to move on and still have a home...
Yes it was abused, yes it was wrong, but it was the system that he was told he had no choice but to use, and for a further 10 years after everybody else got a fairer system... So was he wronged...??? Yes, and now he is simply asking if he can stay on that system so he doesn't get wronged again...
It is his right to have an open case, it is his right to reopen a case, is it right...??? Lots of things in this world are wrong... Including the last 10 years of being told no you can't move, now it suits the PWC... That is wrong to allow it to change because one wants it, but not when the other wants it...!!!
SO please tell me, why is it wrong what the OP is doing...???0 -

I know because i know... It doesn't have to be told on a public forum for it to be what it is...
And because the OP hasn't simply said i earn this and this is what they are have taken...
What i am saying is that money is irrelevant...!!! You may think it is... What is being argued here is the fact that the OP is being slated for NOT supporting his child, but for all you know has been supporting extremely well for many many years and that will make no difference to any of you...!!! It is simply that why would you NOt want to support your child...!!! Not really fair without all the facts is it...???0 -
Because he's doing it to not pay for his child *bangs head*
But you're also working on the assumption that he can do itIf women are birds and freedom is flight are trapped women Dodos?0
