We all love thinking of new ways to customise our motorcycle, but if you’ve yet to take the plunge with your own bike, join in with our People’s Bike campaign and you could win the finished creation!
We’re giving you the opportunity to tell us what you’d do to a standard XL 883N Iron 883™, and with a number of different Harley-Davidson® Genuine Parts and Accessories® to choose from, simply vote for your favourite. The part with the highest number of votes will be fitted to the bike, and each vote will count as an entry to a free prize draw to win the fully customised machine in December.

Terms and Conditions for The People's Bike Prize Draw

1. The following terms and conditions apply to the The People’s Bike Prize Draw ("the Promotion") and entering the Promotion is deemed acceptance of these terms and conditions.
2. No purchase is necessary to enter. The Promotion is open only to UK & Ireland residents (excluding employees of the Promoter, third parties involved in the Promotion and their families) who are aged 18 and above. The Promotion will begin on 2 August, 2013 and end on 1 December, 2013 (the "Term").
3. The prize consists of a customised Harley-Davidson Sportster® Iron 883 XL883N ("the Prize"). The customization of the Prize will be based on the majority of votes for each bike part voted on by entrants. The completed customised bike will be on display at the Motorcycle Live Show NEC at Birminghan before a winner is picked. Promoter shall use all reasonable endeavours to ensure the Prize is customised as voted upon by entrants. However, final customization of the Prize is subject to availaibility of stock at the end of the Term.
4. To enter the prize draw, visit the Harley-Davidson UK Facebook Fan page and enter via the Promotion application, which will register your details. Return to the Harley-Davidson UK Facebook Fan page over the Term of the promotion to vote on seven different bike parts you would like customised on the Prize. Voting on each bike part will be staggered over the Term of the promotion. Voting on bike parts is not necessary to win the Prize. Entrants may also enter the prize draw by registering their details at Goodwood Festival of Speed (11-14 July, 2013) and the Motorcycle Live Show NEC at Birmingham (23 November-1 December, 2013) (the "Festivals") . Entrants will be unable to vote on customised parts for the Prize at the Festivals but may do so by visiting the Harley-Davidson UK Facebook Fan page.
5. One entry per person. Entries received after the end of the Term will not be accepted.
6. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for incomplete entries or entries not properly received due to technical, communication or other problems.
7. The winner shall be selected through random computer generation from the pool of entrants by no later than 8 December. The winner shall be notified by email and telephone. The winner shall have until 5pm on Thursday 22 December 2013 to accept the Prize. In the event that any Prize is not accepted by this deadline, the winner shall forfeit the Prize and the Promoter shall draw an alternate winner. The winner shall collect the Prize at their nearest authorized Harley-Davidson dealer. There shall be no cash alternatives to the Prize but the Promoter reserves the right to substitute the Prize for a Motorcycle of equal value at the request of the winner. The Promoter’s decision is final and the Promoter shall not enter into correspondence with respect to its decision.
8. Details of the Winner’s name may be obtained by sending a personal message to Harley-Davidson UK via Facebook within six (6) weeks following the end of the Term. Personal data supplied during the course of the Promotion will be used for the purposes of the administration of the Promotion, and may be used for marketing purposes. It may also be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the Prize.The winner may be required to take part in reasonable publicity in connection with the Promotion, including the publication of their name, geographic location and photograph.
9. The Promoter shall not be liable for any additional expenses incurred by the Winner in connection with the Prize including but not limited to applicable taxes or insurance.
