PPI reclaim for an old Texaco credit card

Hi - I'm working through all my old credit cards to claim any PPI which I might be owed.
Many years ago I had a Texaco credit card. I no longer have the credit card number or any paperwork.
Any tips on how I can proceed with a potential PPI claim, or at least get some info on whether I did pay PPI on this card? There are no numbers or websites I can find with valid contact details for Texaco Credit Cards.
