Barclaycard PPI

My Dad had ppi on his barclaycard since the start of the card (which he had since the mid 90's) he was in in permanant employment up to August 2004. He then moved into temporary contact work and in April 2005 he was diagnosed with cancer and died in Jan 2006. During this time the insurance policy on his card paid the amount due each month but he would have been covered during previous employment prior to his illness. My question is could I claim for the PPI payments made prior to his illness as his employment then covered him for critical illness and being out of work.
Thanks in advance.

As the policy paid out when needed how would you prove it was in some way mis-sold?0

You can complain it was missold but as he used it to claim it'll be hard to show how.
You can't complain just to get back the premiums paid prior to his death.
And if you are successful, any redress will have the value of the claim removed form it.Non me fac calcitrare tuum culi0
