Hi guys, this has probably been answered somewhere on the forum so i apologise if that is the case, but here goes.
I have had quite a few loans, credit cards, storecards etc over the years, and i can remember (in most cases) the companies that i had them with but dont know ANY of the account numbers or dates. If I send a SAR will this give me the account numbers etc that i need to make a complaint.
As i have had dealings with :
Barclaycard
Lloyds Mastercard
Debenhams
Alliance & Leicester
LloydsTSB loans
then it looks as though if i need to send SAR's to each of these i will be writing quite a few cheques to go with them. I would be really grateful for advice as I am very confused by all of the steps needed to make a complaint. Thanks

An SAR will produce all the records the bank holds for you. They often don't have any records going back more than about 6 years but sometimes records can go back a lot longer. You might want to start by ringing each of the banks on your list and seeing if they have anything they can see on their system, then take it from there. Most importantly you need a reason why you believe you were mis-sold.0
