Barclaycard PPI delay

Hi, just wondered of anyone has the same issue. I have accepted offer from Barclaycard for my PPI, got the letter saying I would receive it within 4 weeks which would have been 6th July but still not received anything and I don't and can't get anywhere with there call centre. Can anyone help?? Thank you

my 4 weeks is up on 19 August, being a bit anal i called them to see what was happening and was told that i am in queue because they have a backlog
So there is no guarantee that payment would be made in the 4 week period.
Have you tried calling them? 0844 5560104 but i used the 01452 828010 which is noted for overseas calls but its cheaper to use!! takes you through to the same team.

Mine was due by 20th July but I didn't receive it so I rang up the day after the deadline to be told there was a backlog and that the staff were working weekends/overtime etc. They told me that they would expedite my payment and I would receive it in the next few days. I left it until 27th July and still didn't receive it so I rang again to be told that it had already been expedited and would be paid in the next few days. I was fully expecting to have to ring again but the money was put in my account on 30th July. I think I would be tempted to email the CEO (email address is on the forum if you do a search) as 6th July is obviously way over the 28 days. Good luck. Hope you get your money soon.

I had the same wait and reasons- along with new reasons each time I rang. I e mailed the CEO in the end ... Funnily enough it was paid 2 days later....

My four weeks is 19 August...if i dont have anything on that day i'll email the CEO too...maybe i will be cheeky and request compensation :A
