Where there is a will

My estranged husband and I own a house as tenants in common. Before the split he made a will leaving his half of the property to be shared between our children, with a few specific bequests of property of his own (vintage cars). If he were to die first would I have to sell the house to give the children their shares straight away? Does it make any difference that we are separated? He still lives in the house and refuses to sell, I rent privately.
I have not made a will yet, but if I did I would probably do the same thing. By the way, the children are all adults.
Thanks for any advice

Possibly, although if they are actually divorced then this would not be the case.Malcnascar wrote: »Firstly you need to make a will straight away. If you die before your husband with no will he would inherit your share.
However, I agree that making a will should be a priority!Signature removed for peace of mind0
