Hi guys,
Just looking for a bit of advice, I'm currently organizing a mates stag and I've done the majority without use of a company to arrange Bt I saw a company thenightbus who seems to offer a good package for an evening night in London. I'm wondering has anyone else used this company as I been liasing with a contact from there for a couple weeks and finally ready to book but the payment method sounds odd to me. I've basically been told that I'm to transfer the money to their bank account at which point they check the account daily in the morning and receipt payment and confirm booking. I've never encountered this type of payment before so just checking it isn't a con. They seem a legit looking site and have facebook pictures and post going quite far back Bt just thought I'd double check and see if anyone has any experience dealing with them.
Thanks for any advice in advance.

That's outrageous, if they're a real company then they should be able to take a card payment. Avoid.0

I like the way they bury their contact address away in the Terms & Conditions and then hide it behind a PO box number.

This clause in the Terms & Conditions caught my eye: 6.5 The Seller carries compulsory third party risk insurance as required by law. Other than as a result of the Seller's own negligence or breach of the duty of care owed by the Seller to the Buyer, the Seller does not accept responsibility for any loss, damage, injury, death or inconvenience arising from any accident, breakdown or delay or the Vehicle.
So if another vehicle rams your bus and causes injuries or worse to your passengers, then tough t1tties because you'll get the square root of f.a. out of The Night Bus Ltd.
Bank transfers are non-traceable. You don't know who you're paying and you have little protection in the event of a dispute.
As jd87 pointed out reputable companies will allow you to pay by credit or debit card.
I personally wouldn't touch this company with a barge pole.0
