Does anyone know how I stand with we buy any house, they told me they would have the money in my bank within 6weeks but they have came back to me 9 weeks later saying they can't buy my house. If I now go to an estate agent can they say I owe them any money for dropping out of the agreement

What agreement did you sign with them?
TBH you will probably have a much better chance of selling your house competitively priced with a local EA. They will have a register of potential buyers on their books.It is a good idea to be alone in a garden at dawn or dark so that all its shy presences may haunt you and possess you in a reverie of suspended thought.

We signed a form to say we wouldn't sell it from under them,now when I try to ring they say the person dealing with it is on the phone & will ring me back. Still waiting0

Get it in writing that they're not prepared to buy your property or you could fall foul of their contract-terms about you pulling out and paying them a penalty.

There was nothing saying there would be any penalty on the forms we signed0

A few buyback company's are under investigation by the oft.
I wonder if this is one hence the pullback..It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0 -
