Pitch on a lean to roof?

I currently have an extension on my kitchen with a flat roof. The flat roof is dripping through.
Instead of repairing the flat roof I would like to turn the flat roof into a sloped, tiled roof.
A joiner came to look at the roof and said I would be struggling because the pitch will be quite shallow (as above the extension is the bathroom/bedroom windows.
Can someone please tell me what minimum pitch is is required on a tiled lean to roof?
Thanks
Paul

http://www.forticrete.co.uk/products/40/centurion-low-pitch-roof-tile.html - other manufacturers probably do something similar
other than that consider a grp or a modern single ply membrane.0 -
I had a similar problem so I used metal roofing sheets. I used a traditional 3" corrugated profile because that is the vernacular where I live but other profiles are available and you can get sheets that look like tiles.

You will find that the minimum pitch is dictated by the type of tile that you use. You need to look at tile specifications, choose a tile and then alter the slope of the roof to suit the tile you have chosen.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0
