    We have - iPad Mini 16GB, plus 2x iPod Touch (4th Gen).

    All good for the children to play games on.

    If you really have to buy a fruity product then yes it will probably be ok for just games. Might not be for the higher-end games designed for the iPad 4's improved inners.

    The iPad Mini 16gb is great for games - I have one and play all sorts of different games on it.

    It plays exactly the same games as the so-called iPad 4, just on a smaller screen, which actually makes it much easier to hold. We also have an iPad 2 which funnily enough also plays the same games as the newer flashier iPad's :D

    I have the iPad 2 and have no problems with it either or my old iPhone 3GS....doesn't bother me if its newest model or not
