Have NTL blocked access to voipbuster?

I can't log in to the server or access their website?

Any ideas please?

I doubt it's blocked. It did seem to be off-line a couple of times last night but was back later, and is there at the moment.

Interesting, it says this on the front page
Sorry - VoipBuster temporarily unavailable for download

Due to technical problems we have decided to temporarily put a limit on the number of new VoipBuster clients. As we are currently in BETA stage of developing this new and exciting product, we opt to continue our test runs with our existing BETA usergroup for the next couple of months. Consider yourselves the happy few :)

My son on adsl can log in and use the service and he can also access the website. I can't do any of them. I can however use 1899's voip service.

Can anyone using NTL broadband and voipbuster test it for me please?

    Hi,

I am on NTL. The Voipbuster works fine at the moment (@ 12.05pm, 23/04/05).

    Hope this helps!

  • I am on NTL too (Manchester area) and having problems logging in to my account on Voipbuster. It cannot connect to the server. Initially, I was using the software downloaded from voipbuster site but then uninstalled it after successfully configuring Xten Eyebeam to work. I was able to make calls until Friday.

Now I have even tried re-installing the original voipbuster software but still no luck. Anyone any help/info appreciated. It is strange how some people are able to use the service and others are not. People who can access the service; can you view the website too (https://www.voipbuster.com)?

on mine, https://www.voipbuster.com does not load on internet explorer anymore. https://www.voipbuster.co.uk does load up but gets redirected to the .com version and so I get web page unavailable.

It's still ok. Do some ISP's DNS servers have the wrong IP address?

Just tried this morning and can now reach the voipbuster.com web page and log into the voip server and make calls.

No idea why but thankful its all usable again.

  • The NTL DNS server either had the wrong IP address or part of it was down. Thankfully it's all ok now....
