EDF Credit reimbursment ?
Options
I am in the process of switching from EDF to Npower and I think that I am in credit with EDF by £240. I have had a meter reading for Gas & Electricity and have just paid EDF my normal Direct Debit. I have not yet received a date for the Npower Direct Debit to be taken from my bank account. Do I have to apply to EDF for a rebate or does it come automatically ?

If you have been asked for, and supplied readings to NPower then they will use them as the account opening readings -then send them via a third party (who verify the readings) to EDF.Once they have them then they will raise your final bill, which,if your maths is correct, should result in a credit balance which will be paid into your bank account -can take 6 weeks plus or more for this to happen. It certainly took about 6 weeks last time I switched to get reconciliations sorted.0

I don't want to hijack this thread, but I have a quick question that doesn't warrant a new one.
What happens if you have a load of credit on a PrePay meter and you want to move?
Can you claim that credit back?0
