I am trying to installa Netgear Router DG833G using an AOL setup disk that came with it. However the ISP is Homecall not AOL.
After running the disk it says that it cant connect to the router ! I dont know why as allthe cables are in the right place. It said to check computer is configured for DHCP . Can anyone tell me how to do this the computer is using WindowsXP ?

Don't use the AOL setup disk, you will end up with all sorts of crap on your machine! Just enter the IP address of the router into your browser and configure the router yourself. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
