Barclays complaints address??

Hi,
What would be the best address to write to Barclays for a complaint/removal of default notice?
I used to bank with Barclays some 5 years ago, and closed down the account, or so I thought. There should have been no money going in our out, again - so I thought. Apparently there has been small amounts of money going out every month, putting the account into arrears and now default. I would like to start a !!!!-storm about this, particularly as there was no overdraft on the account, and I don't quite understand why they have not declined the payments instead. The amount of the 'default' is now settled (it was less than £50).
I only found out about this when checking my experian report because a loan application was declined.
Cheers.

Says in February, it seems experian is very slow to update this as a week ago it was still listed as "delinquent". I then made an immediate payment just to prevent it from going default, but obviously this didnt help. The guy on the phone told me that the account has been closed in June, so I'm not sure this all adds up. I never got any communication regarding the default, because I haven't given them my new address, mostly cause I thought there was no reason for it as I closed the account (it seems that this has failed for some reason, but alas there was no communication from Barclays regarding this either).0

Defaults should be filed within 6 months of a default occurring. As per these:

Might be worth sending them a subject access request as the account info should list the date the DN was sent and using that you can complain to try and get the default date changed.:beer:0
