Benefits and Self-Publishing a Book

My wife claims Tax & Child Tax Credits. She works full time, I work part-time and am on her claim. We also receive housing and council tax benefits.
I want to self-publish a book to be sold through Amazon Kindle and through other mediums.
How will this affect my partners claim for housing and council tax benefits and Tax & Child Tax Credits claim. Will there be an immediate change in the amount paid even if I make few or no sales.
Any help or guidance will be appreciated, thank you.
