DMP, Credit File and Defaults

Hi was wondering if anyone can help..Ive just checked my credit report and read the stickie regarding defaults, there appears to be a couple of anomalies on my file
1) I have been in a DMP over 2 years and there is no record of it? If ive read it correctly the stickie says it would be benefit me to have this on the file, is this correct?
2) I have 2 entries for the same cc, they both show 30/01/09 as a default, one shows as settled the other still outstanding, does this matter should i get this changed?
3) This one I am just curious about, When the default drops off after 6 years, I am aware you need to continue to pay as the debt is still outstanding but wondered if you default after the debt has dropped off of your credit file does it go back on for another 6 years?
Thanks in advance for any info

1) If the account has been defaulted, then a DMP marker would not apply any more so could not be added. If not defaulted, then at the discretion of the lender, but no huge issue.
2) Has it been sold on? If so, then 2 default records are allowed as long as the original makes it clear that the account has been sold on by marking as something like "Debt Assigned to CAIS Member". Only you would see an original marked like that. Antone else would just see the new one. If not marked like that, then the original entry should be removed.
3) No, it doesn't.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Thanks Fermi for the advice neither shows as transferred the one from Barclaycard Centre shows as start date 17/06/02 default date 30/01/09 and then satisfied on 30/01/09 with a status of settled.
The other one from Arrow Global LTD shows a start date of 17/06/02, a default date of 30/01/2009 with a status of defaulted.
Neither mention anything about a transfer, do I need to get the settled one removed, if so is it experian or the Barclaycard Centre?
Its an old Egg CC and I think i remember them transferring to Barclays im guessing Arrow global have been passed the debt.0 -
Experian could raise a dispute for you, but ultimately it is Barclaycard who usually would have to remove it.
I would normally say raise a dispute via Experian AND write to Barclaycard with the same. More likely to get a result that way, and makes it easier to show you have explored all avenues of complaint should you need to take the matter further to the ICO/.FOS etc.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB
