Lost INGdirect details

Hello all
first post so apologies if this has been covered - I've done a search and couldn't find it.

Basically I have an INGdirect account and have lost the account login details. I tried to use the British Bankers Association My Lost Account site but had no luck with ING. I guess because it isn't a British Bank (despite it being transferred to Barclays).

Does anyone have any idea how I would go about reclaiming the ING account?

Thanks in advance

Presumably you just call them on 0118 938 8151 and advise you've lost your customer number

Thank you II - I'll give them a ring. I'll have to prove my identity to them in some way I guess.

If the account has only recently been lost , then it may be worth checking your current account's list of direct debits because my ING account number is the first 8 digits of the direct debit reference number and I think ING required a linked current account and direct debit link to operate the account

I don't know if there was an opt out for paper statements but I used to get them every quarter through the post plus a tax certificate around June.
