DIY kitchen refit

Need to do the kitchen on the cheap, most of the unit carcasses are Ok (albeit they're about 20 years old) so looking at just replacing doors and moving/replacing 2 or 3 carcasses, keeping most appliances except the cooker.
Had an initial hunt around, B&Q etc are way out of our price range but there appear to be several door only suppliers online, however it's a awful lot of money to spend (for us) so I'm after any advice or recommendations. It's a small kitchen that we really need to make to most of space wise. We live near Plymouth, Devon.
Any and all help very gratefully appreciated.

I found B&Q to be the cheapest for doors when I was doing the same - I did wait till they had an offer on though. Sourced handles and new hinges from ebay. They are limited on sizing though. I think Ikea also do doors only but their sizing make not be standard0

Ikea were discounting doors on ranges they are changing by 75%. Unlike lots of retailers who add the small print,"Up to", on everything with most items having 10% off. I would point out that the units are relatively cheap with the doors being the dearest item.I often used to buy 1000mm units with 2 doors when I needed 2 500mm doors as I found it cheaper to buy ,or make-up another 500mm unit. It's the odd sizes that are dearest,300/600 etc and any nice touches are priced way over the top.Often with a bit of imagination and a couple of hours work ,you can add individual gems yourself.

Thanks, I'll have a nosey to see if I can spot some offers with the known retailers before I chance my arm with an unknown online guy.
Unfortunately repainting the existing door won't be an option as there will be a couple of units being changed.0 -
B&Q are the cheapest for the home renovation accessories. You can also use DIY for the kitchen decorations. Use some online tutorial how to choose wisely the appliances and how to work on that.
