Cost to test and inspect electrics

My Homebuyers report for the house I am close to exchange on noted that the electrics have not been tested in 10 years and recommended that I get them tested and inspected before exchange. I know this is just a standard recommendation but think it sensible to get it done. Going to phone a few electricians in the next few days, but does anyone know how much this might cost?

Without some idea of the size of the house, number of floors, and maybe the number of circuits, no.

Mine had been tested but wanted it done again before i exchanged, 3 bed semi , £60. in the north.

Them sort of reports wont be worth the paper they are wrote on?

As has already been said, locaton, size of house, number of circuits will all have a bearing on the cost of the report.
