Npower direct debit discount

Options
We've recently applied to join Npower on their fixed Feb 2015 tariff, and there seems to be differing information on how the direct debit discount is applied.

On one part of their website it states that customers joining after 22/07/13, that the DD discount is applied on a daily basis - however according to the contract, it still says the old system of applying it once yearly is still in place.

I've called them a couple of times to try and get an answer, and according to the advisors, for some tariffs the new system is in place, and for other tariffs not. Apparently letters would be going out to state whether or not this would be the case with our chosen tariff.

I was wondering if anyone knows anything a bit clearer in regards to the differing discount methods? I had assumed from reading the info on their website upon sign up that the daily discount method was fully in place.

Thanks for any advice.
