Cost effective way to plaster garage walls?

Wanting to turn garage in a bit more friendly, softer space as a man cave such as detailing car, gym bits, bike trainer etc.

What sort of cost effective way to put up plaster board type for the internal walls?

Thanks in advance

If you want cost effective you can't get much easier or cheaper than DIY dot and dab ;)

Personally I'd stick to just painting the brick. Can look just as 'friendly'. If you go the plasterboard route make sure you don't cover any brick below the DPC.
