And your current IP will be shown by http://whatismyipaddress.com/
The reason I saw current is because most home broadband has dynamic IP addresses which may well change each time you reconnect your modem/router.0 -

Or just by typing "what is my ip address" into google, which will provide you the result directly.
Google, smartly, cope with IPv6-connected users as well (it turns out that Google are now handling IPv6 pervasively, so those of us that have IPv6 at home access Google via it).0 -
Or you can probably find it in your router information by going to http://192.168.2.1/ (you may have to change the last digit, but that's the most likely one)0

Run a test and part of the info that comes back will be your ISP.No free lunch, and no free laptop

Which IP address do you want?
If your laptop connects to a router then it has a IP address of it's own:
(for Windows Vista etc)
Open Command Prompt from Start Menu
Enter ipconfig
Look for a IPv4 Address value
If you want the router's IP address then follow kwikbreaks advice.0
