Defaults on credit report - identity theft

Today I had a message from Scotcall Ltd. Knowing I have no outstanding debts I decided to use Noddle to get a quick credit report to check why they were calling me, I wasn't prepare to receive a load of abuse from some bloke with no idea why. When I got the report up on screen I had 3 defaults on my file from 2012/2013 relating to a previous address (moved out Jan 2011).
Spoke to Action Fraud who advised to find out who Shop Direct Financial Services were and ask to speak to their fraud team. I've done all the reporting, what I didn't understand is the person who set these accounts up provided 2 very different dates of birth to my real one and was allowed to run up £700+ debt between 2 catalogues.
The report even confirms I changed address in 2011 yet the 2 accounts were opened just before Christmas 2012 and the orders were all for childrens toys (this has given me an idea of who has used my identity but I can't be certain, there were lots of dodgy folk on my old street).
I'm waiting for the debt to be removed and recalled and they will call me to notify when it happens, I've also disputed the items on my credit report.
What I really want to know is, my credit report shows me as a really big risk as a result of these defaults but once this is resolved would/should my rating return to how it was prior to the identity theft?

Yep because the fraudulent accounts will be removed. Don't worry about your rating as it means nothing, you just need to ensure everything on there is factually correct.0
