Dear all,
I am about to launch an online business on a tight budget.
Could you recommend a good software of website to design or pick my shop logo/name for free?
If non existent, one with a good quality/price relation.
Many thanks,
T

Seeing as we are talking about your company identity, do you really want to leave it to an automated freebie tool to make a generic logo? I bunged a young graphic design graduate a nifty five years ago, and for that got several evolutions of a design, mono and colour versions in vector format. It is distinctive, scales well, and a damn good £50 worth.
For a domain and hosting you can go cheapiecheapie, but it depends how solid you need the site to be. If you want e-commerce, don't nickel and dime it - yes there is free software, but unless you want to be keeping it current and secure, you're better off using a managed solution such as romancart. Domain registration I use easily.co.uk and have since the 1990's - they have always been reliable and helpful. There are cheaper registrars, but we're talking a couple of quid a year difference. Up to you.0 -
As paddy says, rather than a generic automatically created logo look for someone who is willing to produce an individual one cheaply for you.
If you can find a new graduate designer then they may be happy for the chance to add some paid work to their portfolio or you could try a freelance site such as freelancer.com.
I paid a designer on freelancer 100 quid to do me a set of 15 icons with roll-over effects (so 30 images in total) and he was happy to make changes to them until I was totally happy with them.0 -
Hi,
I just created a logo for a friend of mine who runs her own marketing company. Sign up to Adobe Creative Cloud and get the free trials of Fireworks and Photoshop. For the basic things they're pretty easy to use!

Have you tried Fiverr? I had one done that was to a very good standard for only £4.00'ish!0

Do you not have any ideas already, my company names and logo and completely from my own head.
Even if you can't use software etc having a idea to give to a designer is a good idea.Have my first business premises (+4th business) 01/11/2017

Hi Percy,
I do have some ideas. Just gave it to a graphic designer at fiverr.com for 5 bucks, with good reviews and a 2 day turnaround.Member 7 of 100 to 10k - £100 to £10k = £1490 -
