Thanks. I have an idea for a pop up shop. Shouldn't have any problems stocking it. Plan to do as a one off. If it works (it does elsewhere) then might consider doing longer term, but that's not the plan initially.
Just wondering about practicalities. How do I find a retail space that will let for a week or so? How much should I expect to pay? What insurances will I need? What about shop fittings?
I think i'm okay with advertising, signage, staffing etc.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0 -
If it were me I'd walk down the streets looking for businesses whose products would complement mine and who seem to have a "handy corner" .... then approach the owner to see if they'll let you pop up in there. Less risk, less hassle and you get some marketing potential on the back of their PR efforts.0

Personally I don't think it will be worth the hassle of a pop up shop for one week, ( ours was for 3 months)
I don't know what products/items you want to sell but pasturesnew has come up with a good idea, also at certain times of the year, certain councils do street trader stalls/markets etc, and you can rent them on a day/weekly basis.
If don't want to say what you want to sell on here, pm me, and I might be able to give you more advice on where to sellWork to live= not live to work0 -

I don't think that would work for this, but thank you.Trying to be a man is a waste of a woman0
