PPI claim dilema

Some months ago i was approached by a PPI claim company, who offered to recover PPI costs on a loan I had, after some time they rang me and said they could not proceed further, Recently I recieved a phone call from another company saying they had had my case passed to them ?. I have now had a letter from my bank offering an amount of compensation. My question is do I have any contractual obligation to the ""new"" handling company with whom i have had only verbal communication. If i accept my banks offer obviously the amount will not be reduced by 3rd party fees, but do i owe the new handling company anthing ??

did you sign anything with either company? & if yes with company 1, did you get paperwork where they advised they couldn't proceed with claim?I don't respond to stupid so that's why I am ignoring you.

If the contract between you and the first company was cancelled in writing and you did not sign a new contract with the second company, I don't see how they can take a fee off any win.0
