Help please before tantrum is thrown!

Oh wise one OH got malware on my laptop last night and only just found out.

I have done everything in the malwear thread, only problem is, when I am using the ediwo (avg spyware) and it finds stuff, it keeps coming up saying error while quarantining.

I have been trying to get rid of this for 2 hours now and I really really want to cry now, this bloody pop up keeps coming up taunting me. :mad:

How do I sort this damn error out, all my settings are as browntoa said they should be

I was running is safe mode, but AVG spyware wont load in safe mode, keeps coming up saying "could not launch, please re-install" everything else worked fab though.

Symptoms? I have this bloody thing popping up



AVG spyware is picking up "adaware.generic" and some little tracking cookies, but spybot got rid of something (will have to find the log file beause I have forgot what it is now

just ignore it as its some malware trying to get you to download a rogue app

Its rather hard to ignore when it pops up every 3-4 minutes.

try reinstalling avg AS. in safe mode

Sorry I misunderstood, I thought you meant download it in safemode.

I will uninstall it, reinstall and try it again.
